Kerem began her creative musical journey with the guitar way back in the mid-to-late-90's, as folk star dreams floated in and fingers bled from crappy action. Then, again way back in the 90's, a hand drum found its way into her hands and everything changed. Smokey rhythms danced between the silence of blowing on blisters. Blisters were better than bleeding, and she made the switch, diving into and surfing the budding drum circle movement and getting her freak on. She had found her community. Sometime into the start of the new decade/century/millenium, Kerem also made friends with didjeridoos, and to this day they can be found attached at the lip at any given moment. Kerem believes in the power of laughter, sound and intention to bring peace into our lives. |
