Becky Cagle is both an artist and musician. She has been playing drums
for 9 years, studying primarily African rhythms. She has studied with
Jaqui MacMillan and Mamady Keita. She is a musical member of the Rhythm
Workers Union, an organization committed to using music for social
justice. Becky has helped to facilitate drum circles and creative
circles with all types of populations.
Since the early age of five, Becky has been drawn to the arts, and
has been a professional artist for over 20 years. She believes in
the alchemical nature of art and music, and visions these as transformative
tools for creating positive change and compassionate conscious living.
It is her mission to create safe and sacred space where the power
of creativity and free self-expression can be used for healing. She
believes that imagination is the Soul's instinctive savior and the
arts are the channels through which the soul speaks. She knows that
all beings are artists of life co-creating a loving and magical world
into being. She brings to art an attitude of reverence, and it is
with great joy she brings her talents into the world.
She is a member of the International Expressive Arts Association.
